Women's Evolution inspired 2K Showcase, 20th Anniversary of SmackDown Editon, Roster Confirmations and more
Following the unveiling of the first two WWE 2K20 Screenshots, today we finally get an overload of information on the game, the WWE 2K20 Cover Reveal, as well the first WWE 2K20 Trailer!

WWE 2K20 Release Date & Platforms
The official Release Date of WWE 2K20 is October 22, 2019. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
WWE 2K20 Cover Revealed, feat. Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns
The WWE 2K20 Cover has been unveiled, and for the first time under the WWE 2K banner, it will feature more than one single Superstar.
The WWE 2K20 Cover Stars are none other than "The Man" herself, current Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch - along with "The Big Dog", Roman Reigns.

This marks the first video game cover appearance for both Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns. Becky Lynch is the very first woman to be featured on the cover of a WWE 2K Game, and the first woman to be featured on the cover of any WWE video game since Torrie Wilson appeared on the cover of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007.
WWE 2K20 Special Editions
Similarly to previous years, WWE 2K20 will come in multiple Game Editions. The various editions of WWE 2K20 are:
- The WWE 2K20 Standard Edition, which includes the physical or digital copy of WWE 2K20, and the Pre-Order Bonus.
- The WWE 2K20 Deluxe Edition, which includes a copy of the game with special packaging, free access to in-game Bonuses, as well as the Pre-Order Bonus and the digital content of the Collector's Edition.
- The WWE 2K20 Collector's Edition, which features a 20th Anniversary of SmackDown theme and includes the Deluxe Edition of the game, plus exclusive physical WWE collectibles:
- Exclusive WWE SmackDown! Ring Skirt Relic Piece (2002-2008)
- Limited Edition WWE SmackDown! Legend Autographed Plaque (Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio or Edge)
Bonus playable Superstars featured in the Deluxe/Collector's Edition include Chyna in her first WWE 2K appearance, Hulk Hogan, The Rock in his “$500 Shirt”, and Mankind representing the Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection.

WWE 2K20 Features Reveal
WWE 2K20 will include several new features, a streamlined gameplay and various popular game modes. The story-driven, objective-based 2K Showcase Mode makes a a return this year. In WWE 2K20, it will be focused on "The Women’s Evolution", following the careers of the Four Horsewomen: Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks.
Keeping with the Women's Evolution theme, in WWE 2K20 MyCAREER Mode players will be able to compete as both male and female Superstars. Also, Mixed Tag Team Matches make a return to the series. Last year’s new WWE Towers Mode is part of the game as well with new challenges, including a story-driven Tower centered around the career of Roman Reigns.
The game will also introduce a new service model - WWE 2K20 Originals - set to deliver a wealth of 2K Showcase DLC Content after the game’s initial launch. Each of the WWE 2K20 Originals will present a new playable world and its own unique theme - more details will be announced in the coming months.
