Chain Wrestling animations have been expanded in WWE 2K16, now featuring the common "international" wrestling sequence as a reversal to the side headlock, as well as ties at the ropes/corner with the referee breaking up the holds and allowing a cheap shot to the opponent.
Rest Holds / Working Holds such as Chin Locks and reversals were also added to the game, providing players with a way to regain stamina while depleting their opponents’ stamina.
