In nearly three decades of WrestleMania, there is one record that stands alone: Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak. The "Streak Mode", part of the 30 Years of WrestleMania experience, will allow players two unique game types to virtually live as WWE’s legendary Deadman, or to go head-to-head with The Phenom at WrestleMania. Also, new playable Tournament types have been added to the game.

Within the Streak Mode, you’ll have the option to either defend Undertaker’s legendary streak, or try your hand at defeating it.

  • Choose any Superstar or Legend on the WWE 2K14 roster to play as
  • Select Undertaker or Undertaker (Retro) as your opponent
  • Face off against The Deadman upon the Grandest Stage of Them All
  • Try to defeat Undertaker and his arsenal of exclusive special abilities seen only inside this mode, such as turning the lights out after no-selling a finisher and then appearing behind the player, and pin-attempts being blocked and reversed into a Chokeslam or a Hell's Gate
  • Show off to the rest of the WWE Universe by uploading your results and high scores online
  • Choose whether to use Undertaker or Undertaker (Retro)
  • Defend The Phenom’s legacy in a non-stop, slobberknocker-style contest
  • Raise your score by defeating as many Superstars and Legends in a row as you can
  • Upload you results and scores online to prove how dominant you are

  • King of The Ring Tournament (returns from WWE '13)
  • Gold Rush Tournament, where the partecipants compete to win a Singles Championship
  • Tag Team Tournament, where any Tag Team Titles can be put on the line

Just like in WWE '13, for each tournament you can choose the match types, whether it will be competed with Superstars or Divas, how many wrestlers will be involved (4, 8 or 16) and whether the partecipants are randomly chosen or selected by the player.

In addition, a new "Damage Retention" feature has been added, which makes the partecipants carry some of the damage from one round of the tournament to the next, in order to have a more realistic King of the Ring style where wrestlers tire as the night progresses.

Defeating 21 opponents in a row in "Defend The Streak" unlocks the "Slobberknocker" match type for Exhibition mode, which functions in the same way as Defend the Streak mode except you aren't locked in to playing as Undertaker or at one of the WrestleMania arenas: you can choose any Superstar in any Arena.

The (Championship) Scramble Match that debuted in SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 but has not been featured on WWE television since, has now been removed from the game.

The Royal Rumble Match has been removed from Online Play.
