Much like WWE 2K15 before it, WWE 2K16 looks like it will also be missing the Highlight Reel feature.
Vore2K confirmed its absence while posting on the WWE 2K forum:

"That it was not the Highlight Reel. That was a development tool we use to review aspects of the game. We know many of the fans want a Highlight Reel or Replay Camera system to return and it is on our list of features ideas/requests for coming titles."
The Highlight Reel feature is on the backburner once again. At least it’s on 2K’s radar to be considered to be in future WWE video games.
