Today 2K released their gameplay trailer for WWE 2K23 which does look quite promising with returning superstars and new additions to the series being shown off along with new arenas and a closer look at the War Games Match.
So, in this article we will be breaking down the entire trailer, noting every superstar, arena, and interesting detail in today’s WWE 2K23 Gameplay Trailer.
WWE 2K23 Gameplay Trailer Breakdown
In the same SmackDown arena, The Bloodline consisting of Roman Reigns and The Usos walk down the ramp towards the ring which seems to hint at a selectable trios entrance for the group.
For the first time in WWE 2K23, we are at the NXT Arena with NXT Superstar and series newcomer Cora Jade making her entrance by riding her skateboard down the rampway. We got another new addition to the series with Alba Fyre attacking Cora Jade in the ring.
We cut back to Seth Rollins about to hit a Frog Splash in the Red Hell in a Cell before going over to Logan Paul on the top turnbuckle in the Raw Arena before hitting a Springboard Clothesline on Roman.
We then have cuts to several moves with Seth Rollins landing a frog splash through a table on Cody, Bianca about to hit Rhea with a press slam, and John Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment on Austin Theory.

Legends Back in Action
As the trailer is ending, we see some final clips, first with Bad Bunny hitting his Bunny Destroyer on The Miz, The Rock hitting John Cena with The Rock Bottom and Cody connecting with The Cody Cutter on Seth.
Also, Charlotte Flair performs her Natural Selection on Alexa Bliss, Rhea connects her Riptide on Bianca, and the final match clips are Bad Bunny hitting a Suplex on The Miz before connecting with a Suicide Dive to The Miz.
Personally, I believe this gameplay trailer shows a lot of promise with new and updated superstars, arenas, and a deeper look at the War Games match type and I am looking forward to what 2K shows off in the coming weeks.
