WWE 2K26 MyRISE features a new two-division branching storyline across men's and women's divisions titled "The Comeback". In this year's narrative, players step into the role of “The Archetype,” returning to WWE after a hiatus.
The story features dynamic personality choices that shape unique storylines, multiple endings, and unlockable characters and arenas. Your final decision sets up New Game Plus: defend your championship or, if you lose, continue competing in RISE matches to try and reclaim the title.
MyRISE Live Event will also return but with a new structure called RISE Matches. Rather than functioning as bonus content, RISE Matches are now fully integrated into the main progression path. Completing RISE Matches will advance The Archetype's career and provide rewards.

Fan Favorite (Face) and Rule Breaker (Heel) paths are drastically different, they feature different storylines and unlockable rewards.

If you want to replay WWE 2K26 MyRISE with your existing character and make different choices to experience new story branches, speak to Xavier Woods or R-Truth and choose "Replay MyRISE".
Otherwise, you can also continue playing MyRISE matches, defending the title and winning it again in your current playthrough.
If you choose to replay MyRISE with your existing character, your current Overall Rating will be maintained, and as always, RISE match progress is saved across all save slots. Any unused attribute will also carry over.

How To Unlock MyRISE Characters in WWE 2K26
How To Unlock RISE Matches Characters
At various points in your WWE 2K26 MyRISE journey, you will need to compete in RISE Matches. If you do not like the match type or opponent you've been given, you can choose Rebook if you have available.
Completing RISE Matches will earn you stars, which progress through the story and also earn unique Rise Match rewards, such as additional Superstars, Arenas, MyFACTION cards, CAS parts, and original MyRISE characters.
Earning a specific total number of stars unlocks the rewards.
The stars represent the rating of the match you play, on a scale from 1 to 5. Playing a 5-star match (which is the maximum) will earn you 5 stars. The number of stars you have obtained and the rewards list can be seen in the RISE Rewards menu.
These unlockable characters include Retro CM Punk, The Fiend Burned, and Scott Steiner '03.
