The WWE 2K26 Showcase mode celebrates the career of CM Punk, featuring a curated selection of his most iconic matches, narrated by “The Best in the World” himself.
CM Punk’s Showcase blends historical recreations with fantasy matchups and alternate timeline scenarios, giving players a mix of authentic WWE events and new “what if” possibilities.
As previously seen in WWE 2K25, the WWE 2K26 Showcase will also include a"What If?" section, featuring hypothetical matches that could have taken place if CM Punk had never left WWE in 2014.
In addition, there will be a "Fantasy Warfare" section, showcasing dream matches that CM Punk never had the opportunity to compete in during his WWE run, with opponents such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eddie Guerrero.
As a tradition with every 2K Showcase Mode, by progressing through the CM Punk Showcase in WWE 2K26 and completing objectives, you will be able to unlock new Characters, Attires, historical Arenas, and more.
The Showcase matches will be divided into 3 Categories:
- Historical Matches: Faithful recreations of real WWE matches
- Fantasy Warfare: Dream Matches where eras collide in the ring
- "What If" Matches: Alternate reality scenarios that rewrite history

Like previous iterations of WWE 2K Showcase, players will be able to earn rewards as they make their way through each match and complete objectives.

For players focused on earning fast rewards, WWE 2K26 introduces The Gauntlet, an optional match where players can choose CM Punk or AJ Lee to face all 20 Showcase opponents consecutively, one after another, with no shortcuts.
Those skillful enough to survive the Gauntlet will earn full completion of the Showcase and unlock every reward available in the mode, including playable Legends, alternate attires, managers, championships, and arenas.
