Apache Pro-Wrestling Army was a Indie and Hardcore pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.
The APACHE PRO WRESTLING ARMY promotion was founded on July 1, 2004 by Go Ito & Kintaro Kanemura, and it ceased operations on December 25, 2016.
Founded in 2004 by Kintaro Kanemura and Go Ito after the closing of WEW, Apache Pro Wrestling Army would continue the line of promotions ran by the recently deceased Kodo Fuyuki, who’s widow Kaoro would offer Kanemura a blessing to continue her husband’s work. Apache Pro would feature several hot angles, including a collaboration with NJPW, which would give spotlight to Togi Makabe and Tomohiro Ishii.
Following a sexual harassment controversy at the hands of Kanemura, Takashi Sasaki would take reins of the company for about a year, before closing to form a new promotion in Pro Wrestling Freedoms. Kanemura would return in 2010 to revive the promotion, running shows for six more years until its closure (and retirement of Kanemura) on December 25, 2016.
