Many gamers often discuss celebrity guests in WWE 2K25, often with some divisive arguments due to those famous people not being wrestlers by profession.
However, celebrity involvement isn't anything new within the WWE games franchise. Non-wrestlers have been present for over two decades as of the time when this article was written.
Not every WWE game features celebrities, but there are still more present than some modern fans might realize. Note that this article will primarily focus on people who were present in mainline WWE or WWF games. Other video game franchises for other companies won't be mentioned.
Celebrity Guests in WWE Games
Cut content or otherwise unrevealed inclusions (such as the current 2K25 DLC options) won't be mentioned here.
One more point to state here is that this article classifies "celebrity guests" as anybody who didn't become famous through wrestling, first and foremost.Many wrestlers are technically renowned worldwide, but it wouldn't make sense to discuss them here since this article focuses on outsiders to the profession.
With that out of the way, here is a list of celebrity guests within the WWE game series:
- Just Bring It: Fred Durst (Play as the Undertaker and beat 15 wrestlers in SlobberKnocker mode)
- WWF Raw: Fred Durst (win all WWF titles)
- WWE '13: Mike Tyson (Pre-Order bonus except on the Wii version where he is free)
- WWE 2K16: Arnold T1 + Arnold T2 (Pre-Order bonus)
- WWE 2K19: Ronda Rousey (Pre-Order bonus)
- WWE 2K20: Ronda Rousey (base game)
- WWE 2K22: Mr. T + Ronda Rousey (Clowning Around Pack), Logan Paul + Machine Gun Kelly (The Whole Dam Pack)

Celebrity guests have become increasingly prevalent in recent WWE games, starting with 2K22. WWE 2K24 had the highest number of celebrities famous outside of wrestling at nine, with more than half coming from just one DLC pack. By comparison, WWE 2K25 had the second-highest number of famous people outside of WWE at five.
There are leaks via datamines that strongly suggest who the remaining two celebrity guests are in WWE 2K25, but such content is always subject to change. Until such information is confirmed via official sources, this article will only list those names as ??? for the time being.
Ronda Rousey made the most appearances in WWE games out of the above list. This shouldn't surprise people since she had been an active wrestler from 2018 to 2023, apart from a break in 2019 and 2020. Logan Paul is also similar in that he's been a part-time wrestler since 2022.
The method in which these celebrity guests have been unlockable has varied from game to game, albeit most of them were available as either pre-order bonuses or DLC packs. Early games rarely had these guest characters, which is most notable with the large gap between WWF RAW and WWE '13 regarding playable celebrity wrestlers.
It wouldn't be until WWE '13 that pre-order bonuses became a thing in this franchise, with modern DLC packs arriving in 2K22.
Spinoff WWE Games with Celebrity Wrestlers
It is worth noting that WWE mainline games are not the only titles with famous people outside of wrestling. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a notable title with guest characters:
- Rob Gronkowski
- Laheem Lillard
- Ronda Rousey
Most notably, Rob Gronkowski and Laheem Lillard have yet to appear in a mainline WWE game, although Rob Gronkowski has appeared in another spinoff game, Supercard (which also features other aforementioned names like Logan Paul and Machine Gun Kelly). It is worth noting that WWE Supercard is still being updated, so additional names may be added in future patches.
