New features added to TEW '05 include Advanced Booking to help promote big events, and improved television shows allowing competition with wrestling and non-wrestling shows with multiple TV deals worldwide for one show.

The Pay-Per-Views now works similarly to television shows and now there was a list of PPV providers which users must now make deals with in order to get their PPVs provided. Also added was a momentum meter, in which it'll increase or decrease depending on a wrestler's match, interview, and angle performance. The booking has also been improved and the match purpose feature from Extreme Warfare Revenge makes a return, with improvements of its own.

Users now have to talk to road agents about how matches have to be set up including ways of putting wrestlers over and burying others, and the way an actual match needs to be performed. More features are now customizable such as editing stats for angles, stories, locations, and injuries. The Angle Editor consists of many different types such as interviews, beatdowns, and celebrations to name a few and up to 6 people can participate in them. The Storyline Editor takes these angles and places them in an order the booker will need to comply to. Also added was the Grade System, making users rely on their own instincts to make crucial decisions.
