National Wrestling Association of America was a Major pro wrestling promotion operating in the United States, based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The NWAA promotion was founded on September 16, 1930 by Gen. John V. Clinnin, and it ceased operations on September 1, 1980.
This promotion was the wrestling department of the National Boxing Association, and the predecessor of the National Wrestling Alliance.
