World Entertainment Wrestling (2002-03) was a Indie and Hardcore pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.

The WORLD ENTERTAINMENT WRESTLING promotion was founded on March 10, 2002 by Hiromichi Fuyuki, and it ceased operations on May 18, 2003.

Established by Kodo Fuyuki after the death of FMW, and hyped up through a cross promotional match against NOAH founder Mitsuharu Misawa, World Entertainment Wrestling (WEW) would begin with a rocky start after Fuyuki’s cancer diagnosis. Commencing with a strong show at Kawasaki Stadium, featuring talent from across the Japanese wrestling world, WEW would continue various story arcs from FMW’s “sports entertainment” era of its final years.

Fuyuki’s cancer continued to worsen, and he would end up dying in March 2003, passing booking duties to Go Ito. Continuing his rivalry with Shinya Hashimoto, WEW would host one final show (also its one-anniversary event) at Kawasaki Stadium on May 5, in front of 18,000 fans. An emotional match between Hashimoto and Kintaro Kanemura would occur, involving the urn of Kodo Fuyuki himself. A few months after this event, Kodo’s widow Kaoro would book shows under the Fuyuki Army banner through 2004.
