World Wrestling Council is a Territory pro wrestling promotion based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, operating at a Regional level.
The WWC promotion was founded on September 13, 1973 by Carlos Colón, Victor Jovica, Gorilla Monsoon.
It was a member of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) until 1988. As one of the oldest wrestling promotions globally, WWC has achieved the significant milestone of celebrating its 50th anniversary in continuous operation, making it one of only eight promotions worldwide to do so.
