Wrestling Marvelous Future was a Indie and Hardcore pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.
The WRESTLING MARVELOUS FUTURE promotion was founded on August 1, 2002 by Mr. Gannosuke, Hayabusa & Tetsuo Yamada, and it ceased operations on August 31, 2008.
One of various deathmatch promotions to spring up after the demise of FMW, Wrestling Marvelous Future (WMF) was founded by various of the company’s alumni, notably Mr. Gannosuke and Hayabusa. The abbreviation of the company is the inverse of FMW.
Though not as well known in comparison to contemporary promotions such as Apache Pro, WMF would offer a home to deathmatch wrestlers of the 2000s, with more of an inclination to traditional Japanese wrestling. After years of financial woes, the company would close in 2008.
