Officially called "Campeonato de Parejas de la Arena Mexico del CMLL" in spanish.
This is a tag team title that, as its name suggests, is defended exclusively at the Arena Mexico.
There is no single championship equivalent.
The CMLL Arena Mexico Tag Team Championship was retired on June 18, 1982.
A similar championship, the Mexican National Tag Team Championship, has been later introduced, which does not share the lineage with this title.
