On this page, you find the full Title History for the AEW Continental Championship, with all Championship Info, Statistics, the Belt Design changes through the years, and the full list of Title Reigns, along with dates, events, and reign durations.

The AEW Continental Championship is a secondary title contested in All Elite Wrestling, by men wrestlers.

The championship was first established on November 18, 2023, and the inaugural champion was Eddie Kingston.

The title is defended under Continental Rules: no one is allowed at ringside and outside interference is strictly prohibited. The title is also the prize of the annual Continental Classic, a tournament that culminates at AEW Worlds End.

The current champion is Jon Moxley, who won the title at AEW Worlds End 2025 on December 27, 2025, and has been reigning for 8 days (This was the final of the 2025 Continental Classic, and this subsequently ended the title's unification with the AEW International Championship, thus rendering the AEW Unified Championship vacant.).

For the Title History of the championship in which this title was unified into, see the page for the AEW Unified Championship.
