New information on WWE 2K Battlegrounds has emerged from the ESRB rating site. ESRB is a company that rates videogames so parents can make informed choices about which games are right for their family. Here is a rundown of what has been revealed.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds Platforms
The site reports that WWE 2K Battlegrounds will release for the following Platforms: Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds Microtransactions
The 2K Battlegrounds game will reportedly feature In-Game Purchases, even though we don't know what type of microtransactions we will see, maybe pack opening, unique skins, or similar.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds Create A Superstar
For anyone that was wondering, it has now been confirmed that WWE 2K Battlegrounds will also include a Create A Superstar feature. So we will be able to create our custom wrestlers like in the main WWE Games Series.

This is an arcade-style fighting game in which players engage in wrestling matches using custom characters and WWE Superstars.
Characters punch, kick, and throw each other during matches; players can also attack opponents by using chairs, poles, alligators, exploding barrels, and falling cars.
Wrestlers react to damage by crying out in pain, and/or writhing on the floor. Matches are depicted in a somewhat exaggerated cartoon style - highlighted by impact sounds, slow-motion effects, and occasional explosions.
In one sequence, wrestlers climb and are shocked by an electrified cage while grabbing bags of cash. Some female wrestlers wear outfits that expose moderate amounts of cleavage and/or buttocks; characters can perform taunt actions that are somewhat suggestive (e.g., a hula-styled circular dance).
