On this page, you find the full Title History for the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, with all Championship Info, Statistics, the Belt Design changes through the years, and the full list of Title Reigns, along with dates, events, and reign durations.
The Canadian Heavyweight Championship was an unsanctioned title contested in Independent Circuit, by men wrestlers.
The championship was first established on March 29, 1976.
The Canadian Heavyweight Championship was retired on January 19, 2025, with the final champion being PCO / Pierre Carl Ouellet.
A similar championship, the TNA International Championship, has been later introduced, which does not share the lineage with this title.
The current champion is PCO, who won the title on July 20, 2024, and has been reigning for 400 days (This was a Montreal Street Fight. This was also for Francis' TNA Digital Media Championship. After PCO cut a promo in which helegitimately aired his grievances with TNA management, before attempting to destroy the TNA Digital Media Championship belt with a sledgehammer, Canadian International Heavyweight Championship was subsequently dropped by TNA on 2025-01-19.).
