Hustle was a pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.
The HUSTLE promotion was founded on January 1, 2004 by Nobuhiko Takada, and it ceased operations on May 30, 2010.
A Japanese promotion which ran from 2004 to 2010, at a time when the wrestling scene there was losing a lot of popularity, this company emerged as one of the biggest wrestling acts due to its zany cast of characters, gimmicks, and soap opera drama with almost no parallel in Japanese history.
The company more or less was a project run by an entertainment company, which at first wasted a lot of money signing big wrestlers, but hit gold when focusing more on small time comedians and entertainers, before closing due to controversy surrounding connections with the yakuza.
