On this page, you find the full Title History for the WCWA World Tag Team Championship, with all Championship Info, Statistics, the Belt Design changes through the years, and the full list of Title Reigns, along with dates, events, and reign durations.
The WCWA World Tag Team Championship was contested in World Class Championship Wrestling, by men wrestlers.
The championship was first established on September 1, 1986, and the inaugural champion was Matt Borne & Buzz Sawyer.
This is a newer version of the WCCW American Tag Team Championship and NWA World Tag Team Championship (Texas Version), with its own distinct lineage.
The WCWA World Tag Team Championship was retired on August 4, 1989, with the final champion being Cactus Jack Manson.
A similar championship, the USWA World Tag Team Championship, has been later introduced, which does not share the lineage with this title.
