Power Pro Wrestling was a Developmental pro wrestling promotion operating in the United States, based in Memphis, Tennessee.
The POWER PRO WRESTLING promotion was founded on March 19, 1998 by Randy Hales, and it ceased operations on April 14, 2001.
Founded in April 1998 by Randy Hales, Power Pro Wrestling (PPW) began as a developmental territory for the WWF, the first created specifically for training future talent. Centered in the traditionally hot wrestling city of Memphis, PPW assisted the early careers of wrestlers such as Kurt Angle, Matt Bloom, and Christian.
During its three year period as a developmental promotion, PPW would be closely affiliated with the World Wrestling Alliance and Memphis Championship Wrestling.
