World Wrestling Alliance (Massachusetts) was a Indie and Developmental pro wrestling promotion operating in the United States, based in Rockland, Massachusetts.
The WORLD WRESTLING ALLIANCE MASSACHUSETTS promotion was founded on January 1, 1996 by Mike Sparta & Brittany Brown, and it ceased operations on November 13, 2010.
Formed in 1996 by businesspeople Mike Sparta and Brittany Brown, the World Wrestling Alliance (WWA) was an independent promotion that hosted shows throughout Massachusetts. In April 1998, the World Wrestling Federation contacted the WWA for it become to their developmental territory, hiring Nova and Dr. Tom Prichard to coach for wrestlers in the territory.
After this agreement quietly ended, the WWA returned to being a small indy, often hosting former WWF/E and TNA wrestlers. Their last show was in November 2010, following the death of commissioner Bob Ambrose.
