WWE 2K26 Roster Predictions: Superstars, Legends, and DLC Characters

WWE 2K26 has been officially announced by 2K as the next installment in the long-running series of WWE wrestling video games. The release of WWE 2K26 is scheduled for Fiscal 2026, meaning the game will be released by March 31, 2026.

While it's still early for official confirmations, we're getting ahead of the game with an early look at the potential WWE 2K26 roster. We want to give you an early look at what's possibly on the horizon. We highlight the Superstars and Legends who could be featured in WWE 2K26 and keep this page updated with any future returns or debuts in WWE.

Here, you can find our speculations and predictions on the WWE 2K26 roster, including potential main roster additions, debuting NXT Superstars, returning Legends, and Superstars from WWE 2K25 who are likely to be removed from the WWE 2K26 roster.

WWE 2K26 Roster Predictions:

The WWE 2K26 roster will include the most up-to-date lineup of current Superstars, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and many more. But who could be the new additions to the game? Which Raw and SmackDown Superstars could be the new additions to WWE 2K26? Which NXT Superstars will make their debut in the series?

Possible Main Roster Returns and Debuts

Here are the Superstars who returned to WWE in 2025 or debuted on the main roster, and who will likely be featured in WWE 2K26.

Possible Legends Returns

Here is the list of possible NEW legends for WWE 2K26. The following Legends are currently under contract with WWE or have signed a Legends Contract, allowing them to appear in WWE video games, mobile apps, action figures, and other merchandise. All these Legends have appeared within the past year in WWE products such as WWE SuperCard, Topps trading cards, or action figures.

Here's a list of legends and alumni who could be new additions in WWE 2K26 compared to WWE 2K25:

Papa Shango / Godfather / Kama Mustafa

Terry Taylor / Red Rooster

Viscera / Big Daddy V

Wendi Richter

After being inducted into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame, the Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) and Kamala are strong candidates to be included in WWE 2K26. This would follow the same pattern as Bull Nakano and The Great Muta, who were inducted in previous years and subsequently added to the games.

Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, the Bella Twins, and Leilani Kai are prime choices for the WWE 2K26 women's roster, most likely as part of a DLC release. For Torrie, this could finally mark a long-awaited return to the series, as she has not appeared since SmackDown vs. RAW 2008.

Demolition (Ax, Smash, and Crush), one of the most prominent tag teams of the 80s and early 90s, could also appear in WWE 2K26 after signing a WWE Legends contract in recent months. Their only appearance in the main series came in WWE '12.

After being removed from WWE 2K25, Ted DiBiase and Big Boss Man should be added back to WWE 2K26, following the renewal of their Legends contracts, which had previously expired.

Possible New Additions from NXT

Here's a list of rising NXT Superstars who could make it into the WWE 2K26 roster. While not all of them are guaranteed to appear in the game, we believe they have strong potential for inclusion, some as part of the base roster, and others possibly arriving later as DLC.

Possible TNA and AAA Roster in WWE 2K26:

As we said in previous years, we don't expect wrestlers who aren't directly under contract with WWE to appear in WWE 2K26. So, unless they officially sign with the company, we wouldn't count on seeing wrestlers like Joe Hendry in the game. There's a small chance we might get a cameo or two from AAA talent, like El Hijo del Vikingo, since the Mexico-based promotion was recently acquired by WWE. That said, it's still unclear how (or if) that acquisition will impact the game.

Superstars Who Probably Won't Make It To WWE 2K26:

The Superstars listed below were featured in WWE 2K25, but it's unlikely that they will be seen in WWE 2K26, as they were recently released from WWE or have decided to leave the company in the past few months.

Honestly the only major suffering we're taking on from the removal list is for the tag team division. AOP and the Club being removed does suck for sure.

Nikki Bella and Goldberg would be great additions for base game though. If 2K is smart, a TNA pack would add in Joe Hendry, Nic Nemeth, the Hardys, and Matt Cardona. If they did a AAA pack, I would expect Octagon Jr, El Hijo de Vikingo, Mr Iguana, and probably Psycho Clown.

Maybe if they really want to go all in, they could do some legends: TNA AJ Styles, Suicide/Manik, Christopher Daniels, and maybe Samoa Joe (if his AEW deal doesn't stop his involvement). For AAA, La Parka, Psicosis, Cibernético, or Abismo Negro would be some dope legend picks.

Why Kamala in this day and age? His character is a bad stereotype of African Americans, & I fear that if he gets included, people of color are gonna strongly protest.
