During this reign, The Midnight Rider (Dusty Rhodes under a mask due to being under suspension in Florida) defeated Ric Flair for the title, but he returned it when then-NWA President Bob Geigel asked Rider to unmask or return the title, so the title was returned to Flair. Then Jack Veneno defeated Flair in Santo Domingo but he refused to defend the title outside his native country, so the title was returned to Flair on the same day and the title change was not recognized. Then Carlos Colón won it but the title change was not recognized, so the title was returned to Flair after a "fictional match". | 631

During this reigns the following title changes took place: Bette Boucher, then The Fabulous Moolah, then Yukiko Tomoe, then The Fabulous Moolah, then Evelyn Stevens, then The Fabulous Moolah; however, WWE recognizes Moolah's reign as being uninterrupted until 1984. The title was known as the NWA World Women's Championship until May 19, 1984, when Moolah sold the rights to the championship to the WWF, and the title was renamed to WWF Women's Championship. | 9965+

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship | The Cobra
Defeated Davey Boy Smith to win the vacant title. During this reign, Les Thornton was recognized by some promoters in the USA as champion due to The Cobra working for WWF. On 1943-11-14, GCW announced that Les Thornton won a fictitious tournament to become champion (unofficial). Then, on 1984-06-02, American promoters vacated their version of the title after Les Thornton joined WWF; Thornton continued to bill himself as champion, defending the title on WWF events as the "WWF Lt. Hvywt Championship". Then, on 1984-07-13, JCP announced that Hector Guerrero won a fictitious tournament to become champion (unofficial). Then, on 1984-10-02, Mike Davis defeated Guerrero to win this unofficial version of the title; then, on 1984-11-22, Denny Brown defeated Davis to win this unofficial version of the title. | 58+
