NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship![]() | ![]() | Vacant
Nelson Royal vacated the title upon retiring from wrestling. During this vacancy, on 1979-12-10, Steve Keirn defeated Chavo Guerrero in the final of a tournament (promoted by Hollywood Wrestling) to seemingly win the vacant title, but NWA did not recognize Keirn as champion; Keirn received recognition from the NWA territories CWF, HW and NJPW, and this unofficial version was later renamed the NWA International Junior Heavyweight Championship. | 22+
